He was predeceased by: his parents, William Crawford and Ruth Crawford; his siblings, Kathalean, Ailen, Olivia, Ruth, Ettie Pearl, Agnes, William Jr. and Percy; his children-in-law, Arthur Jr. and Cristy; and his grandson Steven Robert Crawford.

He is survived by: his wife Loretta Crawford (Bagby); his children, Debra (Dave), Robert Jr. (Deanna), David, Catherine and Timothy; his sisters, Mary Ellen (Victor) and Edna (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Janet and Stan. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews.
