He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Jimenez and Armida Jimenez; his wife Virginia V Jimenez; and his son Steven L. Jimenez. He is survived by: his children, Rudy Jr., Charles Eddie Jimenez, Monica and Valerie Jimenez; his grandsons, Joshua Sr. Jimenez (Loll), David Pena (Carmen), Matthew Jimenez (Brisa) and Jacob Jimenez; his great grandchildren, Melannie, Jaylene, Anabella, Sophia, Steven, Joshua Jr., Aliyah and Jonathan Jimenez; and his siblings, Larry (Terry), Danny Jimenez (Connie), Lupe Estrada (Rick), Arlene Jimenez and Max Jimenez. He is also survived by Many aunts, uncles, and nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
