We are sad to announce that, on August 23, 2020, Sheldon Leonard Schein M. D. of Oxnard, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Lila; his children, Linda Fife (Lorin), Gary Schein (Karen) and Karen Meron; his grandchildren, Yoni (Ari Fife), Roni Meron Nichols (Chris), Jason and Jennifer (Greg Schein); and his sister Sylvia Yedinsky (Phil). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services were officiated by Rabbi Lisa Hochberg-Miller on Tuesday August 25, 2020 at 1:00 p. m. in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura, privately due to COVID-19.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations in Shel's name to the Jewish Federation of Ventura County or Temple Beth Torah of Ventura.
