We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, at the age of 86, William Ashton of Oxnard, California, born in Alhambra, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia N. Ashton; his children, Sherry Ashton and Benjamin R. Ashton; his parents, William F. Ashton and Ethel B. Ashton; and his sister Marilyn Larson.
He is survived by: his wife Robin I. Ashton; his children, Bill (Lisa), Becky Swain (Brian), David (Amber), Elizabeth Geringer (Shane) and Steve (Tiffany); and his brother Jerry. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1150 Gary Dr, Oxnard, CA 93033). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the LDS Church (1150 Gary Dr, Oxnard, CA 93033). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park (5600 Lindero Canyon Rd, Westlake Village, CA 91362).
