It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johanna Rose Ferrante (Pacific Grove, California), who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sisters, Rose Roccia and Phyllis (Josephine); her husband Salvatore Sercia; her son Salvatore; and her grandson Vince.
She is survived by: her children, Peter (Christina), Annamarie Sercia Bruno, John (Christina), Joe (Mary), Barbara (Terry) and Brian (Jill); her grandchildren, Joy Sercia, Jenell Sercia, Sal Sercia, Peter Sercia (Jenna), Steven Bruno (Danny), Ashley Sercia, Gina Bruno, AJ Ferrante and Tori Ferrante; and her great grandchildren, Maria, Michele and Sienna.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 25th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Angela Merici Catholic Church (362 Lighthouse Ave, Pacific Grove, CA 93950). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, February 25th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the El Carmelo Cemetery.
