He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his stepdaughters, Scarlett Riesselman of Martinez and Tricia Bridgewater (Richard) of Independence, MO; his niece Karen Long (Richard) of Winchester; his cousins, Norma and Robin Brainard of Chula Vista; and his grandchildren, Kelsie Frederick and Brian Frederick of San Diego.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations in his memory to Chautauqua Hall.
