He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrudes Lucero and Maximo Chavez; his former wife Mary; and his son Mike. He is survived by: his wife Church; his children, Tony Jr. (Jeanette), Vince (Lori), Diane (Roger Stillman) and Julie; his grandchildren, Anthony, Veronica, Rebecca, Adam, Paul, Stephanie and Max; and his brother-in-law Bert Simonson. He is also survived by his nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duggan's Serra Mortuary (500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, CA 94014). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Church (700 Oddstad Blvd, Pacifica, CA 94044). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (1500 Old Mission Rd, Colma, CA 94014).
