It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Lewis Takach in Pacifica, California, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Steven Takach and Francis Takach; and his siblings, Patrick, Joana Peterson and Lou Paulson.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley of Bakersfield, California; his sons, Eric Takach (Panko) of Captain Cook, Christopher Takach (Kelli) of Orange and Jonathan Takach (Laura) of Bakersfield, California; his grandchildren, Shannon (Josh), Ryan, Emiline, Piper and Niko; and his brothers, David Takach of Albuquerque, Walter Takach (Lorraine) of Rio Rancho and Thomas Takach (Katherine) of Santa Clara, Utah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
