He was predeceased by: his parents, John Coffey and Mary Ellen Coffey; and his siblings, Kit Doyle (Michael), Maureen Cavan (Michael), Bridie O'Brien (Michéal), Liam Coffey (Mary) and Peg O'Donnell (Michael).
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, John (Joan), Mary Laffey, Kevin and Michael (Sarah); his grandchildren, Theresa, Sean, Colin (Chantel), Bryan Laffey, Joel, Katie and Keegan; his sibling Pat Coffey (Julie); Noel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
