He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Colbert Sr. (Marie Carroll Colbert) and Jim. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Colbert; his daughters, Debbie Dietz (Carl), Christy Yonke (Steve) and Kelly Colbert (James Durant); his grandchildren, Jimmy Dietz (Emily), Jeremy Dietz (Kendra), Colby Dietz (Jackie), Kyle Yonke (Emma), Courtney Boyd (Cody) and Curtis Yonke (Lauren); his great grandchildren, JJ, Shaylee and Millie Dietz; his grandchildren, Levi, Davis Dietz, Cora Dietz, Ella Jo Yonke, Easton, Presley Boyd, Kinley, Kamryn and Piersyn Yonke; and his sister Joan Muehlberger.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one of these organizations: The Kansas State University Golf Course Management Research Foundation (KSUGCMRF) to support collegiate golf, the First Tee program, and initiatives that make the game of golf accessible to people of all ages, abilities and financial means.
