He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Cabezas Fernanez and Carmen Alvarez Alvarez; and his significant other Elizabeth Ann Bohrnstedt. He is survived by: his son Jose Orlando Bohrnstedt; his daughter-in-law Amanda Miller Bohrnstedt; his granddaughter Calin Elizabeth Bohrnstedt of St. Paul; and his brother Freddy Cabezas (Evelyn Gilmond) of Bilbao, Spain.. He is also survived by his family, students, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Indio Middle School for the support of their track and field program which needs uniforms and equipment.
