He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Franks and Bytha Franks; his wife Virginia M. Franks; his brother Belton Franks; and his sister-in-law Betty Franks.
He is survived by: his daughter Regina Orawiec (Michal); his grandchildren, Jennifer Kielp (Dan), Kimberly Orawiec and Jason Orawiec; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Morgan, Derek, Lucas and Lauren; his siblings, Wetonia Howell (Alton) and Joel Franks; his sister-in-law Patricia Franks; and his close friend Sheila Weinberg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
