He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sharp and Louise Irene Sharp (Ackermann). He is survived by: his sister Constance Louise Sharp of Washington, DC..
Both dogs were trained and certified through Animal Samaritans to participate in pet assistant therapy programs at Palm Desert (CA) assisted living residences and at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs (CA) where they worked several mornings each week prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
