With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Arthur DenBoer of Palmdale, California, who passed away on May 24, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George DenBoer and Barbara Den Boer; his brother-in-law Steve Nygaard; and his grandparents, Albert, Dema Den Boer, George and Iona Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Chris Hoffman of Palmdale, CA; his daughter Sandi Amato (Kenny) of Brentwood, TN; the mother of his child Barbara Wright (Ronnie) of Roberts, MT; his stepdaughter Brandi Hoffman of Dublin, TX; his granddaughters, Jazlyn, Jiselle, Joli Amato and Shaelynn Hoffman; and his sisters, Roxanna Bunker (John) of Kearney, NE, Bonnie Kolden (Norman) of Yuma, AZ and Linda Nygaard of Wolf Point, MT. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Asper/ Pondera Funeral Home (302 S Main St, Conrad, MT 59425). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Norley Hall (400 N Virginia St, Conrad, MT 59425).
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Barbara Den Boer; brother in law Steve Nygaard; grandparents Albert and Dema Den Boer; and George and Iona Wood;To help us honor John's last ride, please plant a tree or gift a child a fishing pole in lieu of flowers.
