He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Janet Rivera and Thomas Rivera; his spouse Loan ThiThuy Kieu; his children, Kristina Rivera, Lynda Rivera, Thomas Rivera, Aidan Rivera and Hannah Diep; his granddaughter Isabella Rivera; and his sister Maria Shimizu.
