He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Braun of Paradise, California; his children, Benedict C. Di Duca of Chico, California and Renee Di Duca Patton (Marcel Manzardo) of Santa Cruz, California; and his grandsons, Thomas Patton (Bea Magalhaes), Joseph Patton (Molly Patton) and Nic Moretz of Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to St. Thomas More Catholic Church or the Lions Eye Foundation of California-Nevada.
