He was predeceased by : his father Charles Scanagatta; his wife Yvonné Scanagatta; and his mother Ann Scanagatta. He is survived by : his children, Roman Scanagatta (Eleni), April Robinson (Jeff), Leslie Scanagatta (Mel), John Scanagatta (Deanna) and Kenya Van Leuven (Stephen); his grandchildren, Shelby, Stephanie, Trevor, Mollie, Marina, Valentina, Jessica, Danielle and Wyatt; his siblings, Diane Goncalves and Daryl Scanagatta; and also Deborah Vick May of Colorado Springs, Colorado..

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Cypress Hill Memorial Park Cemetery (430 Magnolia Ave, Petaluma, CA 94952).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sonoma County Humane Society and Providence Hospice.
