He is survived by : his children, Blas Covarrubias, Maria Aracely Covarrubias, Nicolas Covarrubias, Rigoberto Covarrubias, Elisabet Covarrubias Garcia and Miguel Covarrubias. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and his 3 great grandchildren.
