He was predeceased by : his parents, Casper Bittinger and Mary Louise; and his brothers, Rolland and Phillip. He is survived by : his wife Sandy Bittinger (Larsen); his children, Marlow Herron of Lake, Carl Bittinger Jr. of Ottowa, IL, Jackie Wells of Bullhead City, AZ and Scott Bittinger of Hoffman Estates, IL; his grandchildren, Sebastian Wydra-Bittinger, Chloe Wydra, Zachary Bittinger and Nicki Clark; his great grandchild Paris Clark; and his sisters, Caroline Evans of Elgin, IL and Norma-Jean Bittinger of Pingree Grove, IL..
