With sadness, we share the passing of Joyce Cole in Petaluma, California. Joyce, born on February 29, 1940, passed away on June 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Cole and Nelson Cole; her sister Maureen C. Nichols; and her husband Oscar Hodel. She is survived by: her children, Christine Cunha (Jonathan) and Gregory Mortonson (Alison Brewer); her grandchildren, Kai and Anwyn Cunha; her brother Jiles Cole (Judy); her niece Jane Cole; her nephew Jason Cole; and her pet Jedda.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to hospice or a local animal rescue. The family would like to acknowledge the care teams at both Primrose Alzheimer's Living in Santa Rosa and Petaluma Valley Hospital in Petaluma, California.
