Though Monte may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Monte touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold McKillop and Florence McKillop. He is survived by: his wife Debra; his sons, Ryan McKillop (Sally) and Steven McKillop (Brandon Hynes); his grandchildren, Joe and May McKillop; and his siblings, Sharon Monticello (Tory) and Bill McKillop. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory (850 Keokuk St, Petaluma, CA 94952).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Providence Hospice Foundation of Sonoma County.
