He is survived by: his close friend Mollie; his children, Peter Wick Howes, Samuel Perkins Howes (Lani) and Laura "Molly" Howes Cushman (Steven); his grandchildren, Maxwell Micah Cushman, Avrey Marie Cushman (Jackson), Osborn Howes (Jessica), Nathaniel Conant Howes and Paola Andrea Howes; and his great grandchild Jedidiah Robert Howes.
