He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Patten and Marjorie Van Patten; and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda; his daughter Traci Van Patten (James King); and his granddaughter Josie.
Rock Steady Boxing became a place where Wayne enjoyed spending time with his friends while participating in a fitness program designed to help people with Parkinson's improve their strength, balance, and coordination.
