He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Okubo and Mamie Okubo; his wife May (Ikeda); and his siblings, Kenneth Okubo of Fremont, CA and Rosie Okubo of Merced, CA. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or Japanese Koden, memorials or expressions of condolence can be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association.
