She was predeceased by: her husband William. She is survived by: her sons, Rick and Russell; and her daughter-in-law Pamela. She is also survived by two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
She was a charter member of the National Museum of the American Indian and actively supported Red Cloud Indian School, the Cherokee Nation Education Corporation, the American Indian College Fund, and Oglala Lakota College.
