He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Chambers and Avo Chambers; his siblings, Paul Eugene Chambers, Carroll "Bud" Chambers and Carolyn Skinner; his sister-in-law Thelma Chambers; and his friends, Al Scheer and Wayne Isom.

He is survived by: his wife Jeri; his children, Jaime Campbell (Mike), Lisa Hafker (Ken), Greg Chambers, Wendy McCarley (Zach) and Giselle Wilson; his grandchildren, Adam, Nate, Emily, Grant, Garrett, Paul, Rashaun, Josiah, William and Marlowe; his great grandchild Ra'Nyah; his sister Mary Meredith (Fred); his brother-in-law Leland Skinner; and his cousin Don Epps. He is also survived by cousins in Arkansas and numerous nieces and nephews.
