He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Perez; and his children, Robyn Hammond (Mike), Jason Perez, John Perez, Michael Perez (Valerie), Michelle Christopher and Adriana Perez. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
