She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Jane (Bonnie) and William Ambrose Barber (Bill); and her sister Loretta Jane Rodenburg. She is survived by: her husband Carl Childs; her daughter Deborah Jane; her granddaughter Deborah Lynette (Matthew Fuhrmann); her great grandchild Joshua James Fuhrmann; and her sisters, Virginia Lee Whitacre, Barbara Ann Triplett and Linda Lou Boozer.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Poway-Bernardo Mortuary (13243 Poway Rd, Poway, CA 92064). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Glen Abbey Memorial Park (3838 Bonita Rd, Bonita, CA 91902).
