He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Terry Uchida (Kenny), Scott Durgan, Sheri Varner (Nathan) and Kent Durgan; his siblings, Linda, Patrick, Bryan (Debbie) and Dennis; his grandchildren, Kristina Uchida-Rattler (Sonju), Nicholas Uchida, Delaney, Lucas Durgan and Kyle Durgan Maslyn (Alyssa Donohue); his great grandchild Lyla Kumi Uchida-Rattler; his friends, Rick, Judy MacDonald and Jeff Goldman; his stepgrandson Joel A. A. Maslyn; his grandson Chace Guidotti; and his pets, Louie, Jax and Phoebe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
