With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Howells of Ramona, California, born in Wichita, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2026 at the age of 95. Though Betty may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Christian John Hentzen and Betty Hentzen (DeVore); her husband William "Bill" Howells; and her children, Chris (Laurie), Randy (Marie), Gina, David (Cyndie), Gary (Brandy), Tim (Ann) and Marty (Dorise). She was also cherished by her 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
