It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Tonetta Dubenion (Rancho Palos Verdes, California), who passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mathews Sr. and Ruth Mathews (Leavitt); her daughters, Earleen Ruth Provost and Tonetta Michelle DuBenion; her grandson Anthony Goodlow Jr.; and her siblings, Paula Jean Monteiro, George, Kenneth, Norman, William, Noel, Larry, Tony, Oliver and Maurice Mathews.
She is survived by: her children, Emory DuBenion, Cameron DuBenion (Sofia), Benjamin DuBenion (Jeannie), Karen Johnson-DuBenion (David), Allen DuBenion (Catherine), Roland Stanton (Michelle) and Zsa Zsa Provost; and her sisters, Hazel Avington and Zsa Zsa Knight. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
