He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Whirry and Myrtle Whirry; his son David Lawrence; his sister Jean (David); and his grandson Adam (Joyce).
He is survived by: his son Robert Alan; and his grandchildren, Theresa (Tom) and Raymond. He is also survived by his grandchildren, a niece, and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Green Hills Memorial Park (27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275).
