He is survived by: his wife Mariam Carey Bass; his brother Dr. Dwight Bass; his children, Jefferson Bass (Suzanne) and Jane Page (Ken); and his stepchildren, Joy Carey and Chris Carey. He is also survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren.
