Shawn leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Shawn’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He is survived by: his parents, Patrick Gessel and Brenda Pryor; his children, Lucas Ryan Gessel, Jade Elizabeth Gessel and Trinity Gessel; and his sisters, Tammy Lynette Gessel, Nicole Lynn Gessel and Melisa Kay Metheny.
