“We have lived across the street from the Crandell's home for many years. Although we did not know them well, we are in a neighborhood which watches out for one another. Don always had a smile, sparkling eyes, and a warm greeting for us when walking our dog. He would see us coming and wait, so he could reach down and pet our fur friend. When he saw us out working in our yard, he would stroll over and have a cheerful conversation for a few minutes. We will miss his warm greetings.”
