“One of the saddest things we can experience is the death of a cherished loved one. On thing I have learned from a study of the Bible is that the Bible often compares death to sleep. (Psalms 13:3) Just as a person who is sleep is unaware of what is going on around them, the dead are conscious of notthing. The Bible holds out a promise of hope for our dead loved ones, God can awaken the dead as if from sleep. Unitl that time, we can have peace knowning our loved ones are no longer in pain.”
