He was predeceased by: his grandson Zachary. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Julie Loeffert (Eric), Carl Rider II (Heather) and Kristin Akes (Paul Payne); his grandchildren, Carl Rider III, Katie Loeffert, Madylin Rider, Randy Akes III and Charley Akes; and his sister Sandra Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
