She was predeceased by : her parents, John Masters and Emma Jackson Masters (Jackson); her husband Weldon W. Phillips; her siblings, John, Perry, James, Leonard Masters and Mordena Masters Puulie; and her grandson Derek Allan Phillips.

She is survived by : her son Conley E. Phillips (Kay); her sister Catheryne Mitchell; her grandchildren, Carlin Hale (Phillips), Brandon K Phillips (Maggie), Kirby H. Cox II (Logan), Jeremiah T. Cox (Lauryn) and Nathaniel R. Cox (Brittany); and her great grandchildren, Mia G. K. Hale, Daphne F. Phillips and Raylan G. Cox.
