He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Durkin and Glennis Durkin. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie; his children, Melissa, Dennis and Lisa; his grandchildren, Alex, Kylie, Ash, Cayson, Bryson and Terrence; and his siblings, Susan, Timothy, Nancy, Mary, Patricia and Robert.
