He was predeceased by: his parents, Vicente Madrid and Delores Sanchez Madrid; his daughter Lucy Ochoa; his sister Norma Rivas; his granddaughter Belinda Garcia; and his great grandchild Rhianna Marie Pacheco.
He is survived by: his wife Erlinda Madrid; his children, Diana Garcia, Manuel J. Madrid Jr., Angela Madrid and Ray Samaniego; and his siblings, George Madrid, Vicente Madrid (Chente), Henry Madrid, Jorge Madrid, Graciela De La Cruz and Julia Salido Madrid. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony's Church of Padua in honor of Manuel Madrid Sr.
