He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Ethel Schmidt (Noren) and Jake J. Schmidt; his wives, Dona (Buller) and Violet Beatrice (Osbourne); his siblings, Glenn and Violet; his son Chris; and his great grandchild Jameson Doyle.
He is survived by: his children, Keith (Janis) and Audrey Tarvin (Harold); his daughter-in-law Sandy Brechman; his stepchildren, Jeanie Barnes and Michael (Betty); his grandchildren, Eric Schmidt (Sontoya), Laurie Doyle (Kevin), Wesley Tarvin (Muery) and Kyle Tarvin (Chelsea); and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Carsen Schmidt, Connor Doyle, Evelyn, Erin, Livy and Felix Tarvin.
