Daniel Ernest Hernandez Obituary

Daniel Ernest Hernandez; 40 years old, born in Richmond, CA, on June 18th, 1981. Son of Vicki Anderson and Alfred Hernandez, welcomed by 5 older siblings; John, Alfred Jr., Tony Hernandez, Andrew & Salena Ramirez later joined by his younger siblings; Rebecca & Keith Hernandez. Daniel or "Peanut" as he was called, grew up in the Bay Area, he attended Ford, Carquinez, John Swett & graduated in 1999 from Armijo High. Daniel began working out of high-school learning & mastering various skills that later landed him the title "Handy Man D" because he was very knowledgeable & hardworking. & MOSTLY because he always made himself available to help his loved ones however & whenever they needed, whether it was to move, set up for parties, change the car brakes, build a fence or paint a room, he was the one to call. His quality of work can be found in homes and business's from lake Tahoe, Clear lake, all over the bay area to San Rafael where Daniel worked at Rafael floors for over 15 years. In 1993 Daniel met Monica Loaiza as kids, later as young adults they settled down in 2005 in San Pablo. They welcomed their first son Daniel Felix in 2012 youngest son Noah Daniel quickly followed in 2013. Daniel was a dedicated family man, he LOVED having a family and was an AMAZING father. He was proud of his kids and spent as much time as he could with them. They all enjoyed spending time together as a family; Playing catch, going to parks;playing sports, going to beaches, fishing, going for walks, hiking, playing cards or board games and watching movies at the drive in. Daniel worked VERY HARD to support his family that LOVED HIM VERY MUCH. Daniel was easy going, very amicable and got along with EVERYONE. Daniel was generous & very charismatic he left an impression & made friends wherever he went with his care free outlook on life, boyish charm, unique style and infectious laugh, he will definitely be missed by everyone who ever has been blessed to know him. Daniel was also a private person, he preferred being at home listening to music, watching true life crime shows or laughing at the newest comedy specials or playing slots on his phone when he wasn't watching what was trending on Netflix or his favorite teams on TV. He was very athletic, loved playing softball and bowling. He loved to drive and beach views, he loved nature and had a soft spot for animals. He loved to hear and tell a good joke. He liked NEWS TALK RADIO, SWEETS AND DESSERTS OF ALL KINDS, AND BBQ. Daniel was good at EVERYTHING, Whatever HE DIDNT KNOW HOW TO DO, HE FIGURED IT OUT with relentless determination, and would love to tell EVERYONE how smart he was and that there would never be another like him...
& HE WAS RIGHT.
Daniel was VERY LOVED & will be missed BY ALL, especially his mother, whom he adored, his best friends/Family; his life partner and their two boys, his extended family & in laws; whom he was always there for, also by his 7 siblings;with whom he had his own special bond with, his older cousins;whom he admired and learned a lot from & younger cousins; who loved him, his many adoring nieces and nephews who referred to him as Uncle D or Uncle P-Nut, and his aunts and uncles who always cared and looked out for him. Daniel passed away unexpectedly on January 4th, 2022, in front of his family for reasons unknown. As we try to come to terms with this tragedy, let's not lose sight of who he was; a dedicated family man, a patient and loving Father, a son who adored his mother and worshipped his father, a brother who admired his siblings and would do anything for them and their children, a younger cousin to men he looked up to and wanted to make proud, cousin to forever best friends and the younger cousins he always looked out for and would come help without hesitations, an Uncle you could always count on, a loving nephew who you could depend on and all around good human being. He had love for EVERYONE, HE NEVER denied ANYONE a favor, he never looked down on anyone; although he LOVED to gossip he was NEVER JUDGEMENTAL, he was fair to all and respected everyone. Please HONOR HIM; BY SPREADING LOVE NOT HATE.
Honor him by talking to someone you normally wouldn't, by forgiving without even mentioning the offense, by smiling at a stranger, waving to your neighbor as they drive by, or giving a homeless person $20, by flirting with an unconventional beauty, or lending a hand to someone in need while expecting nothing in return, honor him by telling an inappropriate joke at the wrong time & place, laughing loudly in a quiet setting at something embarrassing or unexpected, or by staring at someone intently listening to their conversation from across the room a conversation that they are having with someone else, or by calling a gas station attendant or liquor store owner "BOSSMAN", or by getting a word search scratcher, playing Alice and wonderland at the San Pablo casino or feeding a stray cat cheetos, or HELPING an old lady with her groceries or by eating an ENTIRE pack of king size Reeses and chugging a can of Pepsi or Dr. Pepper in 3 seconds following it up with the biggest BELCH you could muster up, most of all honor him by NEVER FORGETTING ALL THE LOVE HE HAD FOR EVERYONE, HOW HE NEVER GAVE UP ON ANYONE, HOW HE NEVER HELD A GRUDGE AND BY REMEMBERING WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR EVERYONE!!! He touched ALL of our lives, he made a difference, we could ALWAYS count on him let us not forget that and NEVER FORGET HIM!!!
