She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneva McGowan and Frank McGowan; her husband N. J. Burton; her son James Burton; her grandson Loyd Burton; her siblings, Carol (Don Morris) and Donald McGowan (Ruby); and her sisters-in-law, June (Walter Wood), Coreena (Harvey Townsend) and Helen Timothy.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Burton of Hobart and Phyllis (Clyde Lee) of Hobart; and her brothers-in-law, Donnie Burton (Francis) and John Timothy I.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel (1400 Main St, Lone Wolf, OK 73655). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the People's Funeral Home Chapel (1400 Main St, Lone Wolf, OK 73655).
