He was predeceased by: his wife Esther; his son Raymond (Kelly); his grandson Derek Avalos; and his siblings, Dolores Lopez, Joe, Steve, Frank, Pete and Johnny.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sue Delgado (Alfred) and Patty Mahoney (Bill); and his grandchildren, Paul Delgado (Marie), Ernie Otiz (Vicki), Tina Hernandez (Rick), Theresa Contreras (Marcial), Kevin Avalos (Lauren), Jennifer Shepler (Jarrod), Rochelle Laton (Andy) and Jessica Lavatai.
