She was predeceased by: her parents, Essie Norris and King Solomon Norris. She is survived by: her sons, Jarome and Edward Carter; and her sisters, Bessie Varnedoe and Jackie Dunn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCune Garden Chapel (212 Main St, Vacaville, CA 95688). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Baptist Church (125 McClellan St, Vacaville, CA 95688). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Rolling Hills Memorial Park (4100 Hilltop Dr, Richmond, CA 94803).
