He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Zidek and Anna Zidek; his wife Nancy Hinton of Louisiana; and his siblings, Martin, Eddie, Joey and Mary.

He is survived by: his daughters, Anne Zidek (Scoti), Monica and Margaret; his stepson William Hearne; and his grandchildren, Mikayla, Khaleel, Cheyenne and Lakota.
