He is survived by: his daughter Amy Darlin (Roger); his wife Darcy; his children, Angie Gonzalez (Jose), Sarah Burns, JuliAna Burns, Brittany Tellez (Irvin), Kiersten Longoria (Josh) and Dustin Burns (Jessica); and his siblings, Tim Kirkpatrick (Cherie) and Melinda Eash. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holland and Lyons Mortuary Chapel (216 S Norma St, Ridgecrest, CA 93555). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Desert Memorial Park (801 San Bernardino Blvd, Ridgecrest, CA 93555). A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Elks Lodge (201 E Church Ave, Ridgecrest, CA 93555).
