He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Farris and Joseph Farris; his significant other Armenia Cecilia Farris; his granddaughter Rita Stephanie; and his brother Morris James Farris.
He is survived by: his brother Donald Farris (Gailyn); his children, Kristin Della, Kathy Farris, Karen Van Ostrand (Ross), Tim Farris (Maureen), Joe Farris (Lisa) and C'Anne Vaughn; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Flores, Leia Skelley (Greg), Sarah Dick (Andy), Stephen Burfeindt (Linae), Lacie Galvan (Trey), Toni Valdez, Danny Valdez, Katherine Orr (Joshua), Michael Farris (Hannah), Greg Farris, Taylor Stocking (John David) and Holly Vaughn. He is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hk Memorial Chapel (216 S Norma St, Ridgecrest, CA 93555). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:40 PM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (446 W Church Ave, Ridgecrest, CA 93555). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:30 PM at the Desert Memorial Park (801 San Bernardino Blvd, Ridgecrest, CA 93555). A reception was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Saint Ann Catholic Church (446 W Church Ave, Ridgecrest, CA 93555).
