He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his parents, Norma and Frank; his sister Cindy; and his daughter Carolyn.

He is survived by: his children, Katherine Merati (Rich), Lora (Mason) and Scott Eagles (Natalia). He is also survived by nine grand children, and 11 great grandchildren.
