She was predeceased by : her father Melvin Smith; and her brother John. She is survived by : her mother Mertie Smith; her daughter Ruth; her siblings, Arthur and Jane; her sister-in-law Valerie; her husband Scott O'Neil; and her children, Lisa (Kurt Katzenstein), Erin (Ryan Kelly), Rory (Cassie Shoaf), Katie (Matt Wadley) and Joanna (Jacob Rock). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
